CK's 21st Birthday Weekend [In Photos]

Alright, it's been a couple of weeks since I made it home from celebrating my beautiful sister's 21st birthday, so I figure it's about time I share some of the pictures! I could write about it all, but I think the pictures will give you a good enough sense :)

I Did It!

I feel like I can finally breathe again. It's amazing how much stress one person can carry without realizing it. And it's especially amazing when that person is me and I finally figure it out once the stressor is removed.

Those of you who read My Test Anxiety and KBug Do Not Mix last night know that I had a huge exam for my Marketing course today. You also know about my test anxiety, the additional stress from my mentor and how I realized it was affecting KBug.

Well all of that is in the past.

I passed my test!

ADHD. It's Real, People.

When I was 16 years old, I got married.

 

When I was 16 years old, I had a baby.

 

When I was 19 years old, I got divorced.

 

When I was 21 years old, I became the single mother of a diagnosed special needs child.

 

An Unexpected Impact

If you've read my previous post, you know that I have recently spent a couple of hours catching up on one of my favorite television shows, "Army Wives".

Joy and Excitement

So just a few random things I've thought about over the last few days.

One, I thought it was awesome that I was right last time I wrote about how my students wouldn't like me much because I was giving them homework.
Seriously, I have never heard that group complain so much.
And I have never gotten so many compliments in such a short period of time. From my hair, to my outfit, to my shoes... They could have been spending time in class working on their homework, but they chose to spend their time kissing up and trying to get me to not give homework.
