Children's Museum [Boston]

I'm starting to feel like all I do anymore is Co-Host blog hops and sponsor Giveaways. While those are wonderful and I absolutely love doing them, I really miss writing. So I think I'm going to start "planning" and "scheduling" my posts. There will be the occasional random post, I'm sure, but I'm hoping to get back to my semi-regular posting soon and be on something resembling a schedule before I go back to work in three weeks.

But anyways. I'm starting to get seriously behind on the updates from our Boston vacation... We've been back for almost two whole weeks and I've only written about our first adventure. Serious fail on my part. I'm working on it, though.

So our first day in Boston we spent the day at the Museum of Science. You can read about our day at the Museum here and check out some of the pictures I took!

Day two brought us to the Boston Children's Museum! KBug was SO excited to check this place out and asked us at every stop on the train if it was our turn to get off yet. After something like 12 stops of telling her no, we were all very ready to be able to say yes and get off the train at Government Center!

Can I just say that I am so incredibly thankful that Mr. Boston's cousin decided to join us that day? Because had it just been Mr. Boston, KBug and me it might have taken us a year and a half to figure out how to get to the place from the train. Seriously, I think we walked close to a mile to get there, through the streets of Boston. Actually, it was a really nice walk and we all enjoyed the time outside, even if it was crazy hot out that day.

Once we all finally made it there (KBug's poor legs were working overtime trying to keep up with us big people) we couldn't wait to get inside. It was cool, it was comfortable and it looked to be so much fun just from the first level! The first thing we saw was this giant climbing structure that KBug was so anxious to try!

After paying for our tickets, having our hands stamped and convincing KBug that we should leave the awesome climbing structure until the end, we headed into the museum. And, like the post about the Museum of Science, it's just way too much to write. So I'll show you in pictures!

Ummm, who's the child?

Racing golf balls down the ramp and through the loops!

Yes, I'm the mom with the hand on her back.
Even though she was only two feet off the ground.

We all played in the sand!

Mr. Boston being a kid again!

Why do I love this man?
Because he can always make me giggle

Trying out the littlest chair in her own version of Goldilocks!

Love my Mr. Boston

I wish I had gotten a picture of the Smiley Face they made on here!

Investigating.

I don't think I'd trust KBug on the road....

Love <3

She lifted herself all the way to the top!

This is the New Balance Climb. It's three stories tall!

KBug didn't hesitate at all getting in that thing!
She climbed all the way to the top!

We had a seriously awesome day at the Boston Children's Museum! Honestly, I'm not sure who the kid was- we all started exploring and investigating as soon as we walked through the door! It was a great experience and I think we will definitely be going back the next time we take a trip to Boston!

KBug wants to get to the top of the New Balance Climb again!
